Privacy Policy

Plain-language summary of what ClipForge stores and why.

Last updated

What we collect

  • Your account email and authentication data, handled by a third-party authentication provider.
  • The video links or files you submit to generate a clip, and any custom caption font or reference image you upload alongside a request.
  • The clips, bulk zips, and Hyperframes renders those requests produce, plus basic metadata about each job (status, timing, error messages).
  • Billing information is handled entirely by a third-party payment processor — we never see or store your card details.

How it's used

  • Source videos and uploaded files are used solely to render the clip you asked for: transcription, moment detection, and compositing.
  • Reference images uploaded for a Hyperframes AI render are used only to build that one composition.
  • We never use your source footage, prompts, or outputs to train any model.

Retention and deletion

  • Source uploads and rendered outputs are stored in a private bucket, readable only by you and by the automated worker that processes your jobs.
  • Reference images uploaded for a Hyperframes AI render are deleted automatically once that render finishes, whether it succeeds or fails.
  • You can delete any finished clip or Hyperframes render at any time from your dashboard; deleting a job removes both its database row and its stored file.
  • Bulk-job zip downloads are hosted on a third-party file host with a fixed expiry window and are removed automatically once it passes.

Third parties

  • Supabase (database, auth, and file storage), Stripe (billing), and the AI providers used for transcription and moment/composition generation each process the minimum data needed to do their part of the job.
  • If you connect a Discord webhook, we POST a completion notification to the URL you provide — nothing else is sent to it.
  • Cloudflare hosts the site and counts page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't follow you to other websites. Clip share links, and addresses carrying anything beyond campaign tags, are never counted.

Advertising

  • Free-plan accounts and some public pages show ads from Google AdSense. Paid plans are ad-free.
  • Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • You can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
  • Ads are always labelled “Advertisement”; we never pass your videos, prompts, scripts or account details to advertisers.

Your controls

  • You can revoke any API key from Settings at any time — it stops working immediately.
  • You can delete individual clips or your whole account's data by contacting us; account deletion removes your stored files along with your database rows.
